Endline Evaluation of The BMZ Pathways for Sustainable Employment for Women And Youth In Ghana (PASEWAY Project) (2022)

African Hunter ( Bush Meat )

Youth unemployment is a major socio-economic and political issue in Ghana and many other African countries, and it is one of the most difficult challenges to overcome in achieving Africa’s sustainable development. Enabling young people to find work is regarded as a critical strategy for achieving Agenda 2063 and its sustainable development goals. To address this issue, Plan International Ghana, in collaboration with Plan International Germany, led the implementation of the Pathways for Sustainable Employment Opportunities for Women and Youth in Ghana (PASEWAY) project in collaboration with three (3) local NGOs, namely YOTA, VTF Programme, and RAINS, with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The overall goal of this project endline evaluation by Devtplan Consult Limited was to assess the achievements, challenges and good practices that have occurred as a result of the implementation of various activities over a period of three (3) years.
