The Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) selected 4 markets and economic enclaves within Accra to benefit from the electric power improvement interventions under the Access project. These interventions include the installation of a High Voltage Distribution System (HVDS) and security lights. This is expected to increase the number of new connections in these markets by reducing barriers to obtaining legal connections, thereby contributing to increased productivity. As the resettlement and community engagement consultant, Devtplan Consult Ltd was responsible for carrying out relevant socio-economic, community engagement, and resettlement negotiation activities to pave the way for smooth construction activities under the project.
