The aim of the project was to conduct a contextual analysis of gender and youth in agriculture in the Northern and marine fishery regions of Ghana. Qualitative data collection approaches (FGDs and KIIs) were used to elicit information from young men and women between the ages of 18-24 years, socially connected women who are 25 years and above, successful agri-businessmen, and local authorities in project communities. The field activities were carried out in seven (7) districts in the Northern, Greater Accra, Upper East, Northeast, Central, and Western regions of Ghana. In total 16 FGDs and 44 KIIs were conducted.
