Devtplan Consult was contracted by the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) to conduct a tracer survey as part of the project impact evaluation of the Sustainable Land and Water Management Project (SLWMP). This assignment was after the firm (Devtplan Consult) had conducted a Baseline survey for this same project in 2017. The project was being implemented in 10 districts within the Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions of Ghana.
The assignment involved the following:
- A longitudinal study where the same observations in the baseline were studied. Surveys were administered to 1840 households in 75 communities, all of which did the long survey and 10 of which did additional shorter surveys (PES).
- Household data was collected electronically, with tablets or smart phones. The survey instrument was programmed using Survey CTO.
